Can we share a secret? Not all angels have wings. Some ride the bus or take the Metro. And not all angels wear robes or play the harp, many wear jeans and shop at the corner store. In fact, most angels don’t live among the clouds, they walk alongside us here in Baltimore. They’re our neighbors, pastors, cousins, and friends. They’re in every part of our community, and they all have one thing in common: a desire to make a difference. That’s where Tammy’s Angels comes in.

Tammy’s Angels is the perfect way for the angels of Baltimore to help our most needy. We do this by providing support and resources to those experiencing poverty and homelessness. “I’ve always had a heart for giving,” says Tammy’s Angels founder and Executive Director Tama’Neisha (Tam) Thibodeaux. “It started with my family, which has a long history of helping others, and grew during my time in the Navy.” Travelling the world as a Logistics Specialist aboard the USS Ronald Reagan, Tam saw firsthand what a group of people, working together to achieve a common goal, can accomplish. From this, Tammy’s Angels was born!
